The Organisation

The Australian Art Print Network is a publisher and marketer of limited edition, fine art prints by Australian Aboriginal artists whose partners have been involved in Aboriginal printmaking for the past twenty years. We do not deal in any other Aboriginal art works. Because we are print specialists, we believe we offer a range, quality and level of service unequaled elsewhere for work in this medium.

The Prints

With few exceptions the works in our range are 'original' prints. This means they are not reproductions from original canvases but are prints that have been created by the artist for a specific printmaking process on stones (lithograph), metal plates (etching or lithograph), acetate sheets (screenprint) or linoleum blocks (linocut). In special circumstances, such as working with a senior artist who is too frail to execute work on plates, stones or acetates, we have published screenprints which are reproductions from 'signature' works originally painted on canvass. These are identified as 'screenprint' as opposed to 'original screenprint' which is the terminology we use to describe an original print.

The prints are produced on acid free, archival quality papers to ensure their longevity.

The sale of each print is accompanied by full documentation including an explanation about the imagery and spiritual significance plus technical and full provenance details. Artist's biographies are also included.

Sales and Shipping

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, and the print is returned to us in its original condition, we will issue a refund (conditions apply).

Prints will be shipped within 48 hours of receiving the order. Method of shipment is air mail through the Australian postal service. Orders should be received within five to ten days from the date of placing the order. Shipments to remote areas may take longer. A door to door, express service is also available.

All shipments are insured and will require acknowledgement of receipt.

Please notify us if your order has not been received within fourteen days from the date of placement. We will either track the shipment and advise when it is due to arrive or send a replacement print.

Payment of any local taxes or duties are the responsibility of the receiver.
