Our GuaranteeIf you are not satisfied with your purchase, and the print is returned to us in its original condition, we will issue a refund (conditions apply so please contact us to discuss if required).About Our PrintsWith few exceptions the works in our range are 'original' prints. This means they are not reproductions from original canvases but are prints that have been created by the artist for a specific printmaking process on stones (lithograph), metal plates (etching or lithograph), acetate sheets (screenprint) or linoleum blocks (linocut). In special circumstances, such as working with a senior artist who is too frail to execute work on plates, stones or acetates, we have published screenprints which are reproductions from 'signature' works originally painted on canvass. These are identified as 'screenprint' as opposed to 'original screenprint' which is the terminology we use to describe an original print. The prints are produced on acid free, archival quality papers to ensure their longevity. The sale of each print is accompanied by full documentation including an explanation about the imagery and spiritual significance plus technical and full provenance details. Artist's biographies are also included. About The Organisation Behind This Website The Australian Art Print Network is a publisher and marketer of limited edition, fine art prints by Australian Aboriginal artists whose partners have been involved in Aboriginal printmaking for the past twenty years. We do not deal in any other Aboriginal art works. Because we are print specialists, we believe we offer a range, quality and level of service unequaled elsewhere for work in this medium. |

Dennis Nona: Between Sky, Land and Sea
Recent works: Prints and Sculptures
The exhibition presents a series of new works by Dennis Nona that majestically combine engraving and sculpture: 33 etchings; 6 linocuts; 11 sculptures and a remarkable sand installation. The exhibition features monumental works of exceptional technical calibre including a spectacular four-metre bronze sculpture involving a crocodile and a human figure, a six-metre linocut and an etching of 5 by 2 metres.
The art of Dennis Nona transports the viewer to a captivating dream world through the imaginative combination of sea creatures (turtles, dugongs, sharks and crocodiles), with totemic representations of the stars, or by setting highly inventive forms and Jérôme Bosch-like characters, against subtle background narratives.)
