‘I'm from Lockhart River ... a member of the Art Gang … but I’ve moved to live in Cairns now. I look after my two boys, Isaiah and Zane and my sister’s bubba girl Moria. My partner, Wayne ... he works for Dept Primary Industry ... helps communities on Cape York to establish seafood industry. Isaiah and Zane ... they go to shool and pre-school here in Cairns ... that's really important for them.
I’ve had solo exhibitions in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and London and I go in group exhibitions all over the world with other Aboriginal artists.
I paint about traditional Aboriginal culture and about how we live in Lockhart River today. Often I paint about ‘before-time’ … stories from the old people ... about culture and how they used to live. I paint about today now ... we go camping, fishing, to homelands ... about rain, tides, travelling and relations … paint about everything today.'
subjects and themes
Kapay and Kuyan which are the two sides of the social schema of (opposite moieties) the Ungkum people. Her work refers to the landscape, cyclones as well as fishing and hunting.

Market:
Our 'Secondary Market Range' comprises one, sometimes

of the most senior and acclaimed Aboriginal artists.
